What is a Network group
Written by Linda Kassis
A business network can be defined as a group of people that have some kind of commercial relationship. For example, the relationships between buyer-supplier, and colleague-colleague. Keeping Good Records
Written by Melissa Haley
Operating a Notary Signing business requires more than just being a notary and keeping a journal (hopefully you do this anyway, even if not required by your state laws). How to Create a Marketing Plan
Written by Hazzaa Kassis

Most successful companies have started out with some type of Marketing Plan. Larger companies have marketing plans that consist of hundreds of pages. Lucky for us, we are not large corporations and probably will never need anything that elaborate. But just the same we need a plan. Some kind of plan, whether it be a book or something as simple as a 1/2 dozen pages or so is better than no plan at all. Let us use a scenario I once heard of; how effective a marketing plan can be. Let's assume we go sailing. We want to arrive at a certain destination.

Free "Yellow Page" Directories
Written by Sharon Hassler
As a notary public or notary signing agent, you may be familiar with directories just for notaries but don't overlook the generic ones where you can frequently add your contact info for free. On the other hand if you are getting some calls that close to appointment time, and you feel that a mobile office will be a of benefit, then consider how many more assignments will you receive and how much extra income you are going to make once you set up your “Mobile Office”.
